Dadoń Fishing Farm is a family business.
In 1989 it was founded by Jarosław Dadoń, and now that he is gone, his daughter Emilia and her husband Tomek take over the running of the company with the support of their loved ones and trusted employees.
My dad has always been connected with fish. It was his great passion since childhood. 30 years ago, after several years of work in the industry, then still at state fishing centers, he decided to build fish ponds. He found a place. Sianów near Koszalin.
I still remember how he brought us here with my mother for the first time. Holidays, beautiful weather and we were surprised because apart from a few holes in the ground and the foundations of the old guardhouse, there was nothing else there. I also remember the river flowing right next to 'our house' (those foundations) and lots of children who were swimming in it at the time. I didn't take my father's words seriously. We returned to our old apartment near Słupsk and forgot about Sianów. And then suddenly, half a year later, it turns out that my father was completely serious.
I change schools, my mother changes jobs and we move to Sianów. It turned out that during those few months, my father actually built a facility that would allow us to start individual fish farming and a small apartment for our family with a marginal processing plant outside our kitchen window.
Dad did everything himself. Without employees or specialized equipment, which he could not afford. He slept in a tent on the 'construction site', and his friends and family helped him. Thanks to his determination and hard work, after more than 30 years, the company he created is not only a center in Sianów but also several other fish farms, and the company ‚Dadoń' supplies fish to Polish and European customers.
His consistency in pursuing his goal, dedication, very hard work, but also thanks to his approach to people. Dad always treated others with great respect, which allowed him to build a trusted, dedicated staff and a list of loyal contractors. We run the company according to his principles.
And the rules of running this type of farm are very strict. The fish comes, first of all, from our own farm, fed with the best quality food, without soy or GMO. It lives in comfortable conditions. Quality is our priority. There are no exceptions here. The best proof of the quality of our fish is the crowd of devoted local customers from Koszalin, Sianów and the surrounding area as well as in Warsaw and Katowice, where a few years ago we started selling our products stationary at Bio Bazar, which we do with great joy to this day.
