Tomato pesto with baked trout

Dried tomato paste with baked trout. A product that was created in our pantry from the desire to combine beloved plant flavors with the wealth of vitamins contained in the meat of spring trout.

Such trout lives in Poland, only in breeding conditions. For this reason, it is also not very popular in our country. It is characterized by a large amount of mucus on the skin, which gives the false impression of staleness. In fact, this is a natural feature of this fish. Thanks to this, it is great for baking, because the mucus creates a natural protection against high temperatures and prevents the fish from drying out too much during heat treatment. After baking, the meat is very delicate, melts in the mouth. Due to its special delicacy and taste, it is the most frequently chosen product by parents, both for themselves and their children.

That's why we also use brook trout for our pesto.

Baked trout gives the paste a very delicate, fishy flavor. Perfect for sandwiches, pasta, and as an addition to salads.
